Early Times Report RAJOURI, Mar 21: Chairperson of J&K Waqf Board, Dr. Syed Darakhshan Andrabi, visited Rajouri to inspect the ongoing infrastructural works at various Waqf Board-managed places of worship. She supervised the mat-laying process at Eidgah Jamia Masjid, City Jamia Masjid, and Panjpir Mosque. Dr. Andrabi was accompanied by CEO of J&K Waqf Board Zaheer Ahmed Kaifi, Waqf Board Administrator Abdul Qayoom Mir, and Manager Waqf Unit Rajouri Sajjad Ahmed. Prominent religious scholars and social figures, including Moulana Mohammad Farooq Naqasbandi, Farooq Muztar, Dev Raj Sharma, Jaget Ram, Azam Shah, Tazeem Dar, and Ajay Sharma, were also present. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Andrabi expressed satisfaction over the completion of the mat-laying project before Eid. She assured that various ongoing infrastructural developments would be completed soon and emphasized the Board's commitment to upgrading places of worship across J&K. She highlighted that the Waqf Board's transparency and efficiency have restored public trust, motivating them to continue their efforts. "J&K is a place of spiritual excellence, and we are privileged to strengthen our religious centers through continuous development," she said. Dr. Andrabi reaffirmed that the Board's initiatives to enhance spiritual and infrastructural facilities would continue in the future, ensuring better services for worshippers. |
