RAMBAN, Mar 21: The District Task Force Ramban, under the directives of Deputy Commissioner Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, conducted a comprehensive enforcement operation to rescue children forced into child labour and here in the main Town and surrounding areas.
During the operation, 14 children were rescued and presented before the Child Welfare Committee here at Community Hall. Their guardians were counseled and warned against violating child protection laws. The children were reunited with their families under strict monitoring, ensuring their well-being and future protection. The drive was supervised by the District Child Protection Officer (DCPO) and Assistant Labour Commissioner (ALC).
Led by Assistant Labour Commissioner Amit Kumar and CWC Chairperson Nighat Ghani, the task force comprised officials from the District Child Protection Unit, Health Department, Employment Department, District Police, and Child Helpline. |
