Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 22: The General Line Teachers' Forum (GLTF), led by President Neeraj Sharma, extended a warm welcome to the newly appointed District Education Planning Officer (DEPO) Jammu, B.D. Sharma. The forum presented a bouquet as a goodwill gesture and expressed support for his leadership. Neeraj Sharma praised the government's decision, stating that B.D. Sharma's dedication would contribute to the growth of the education sector. Following the welcome ceremony, the GLTF held discussions with Chief Education Officer (CEO) Jammu, Jagdeep Padha, addressing crucial issues concerning teachers and non-teaching staff. Key concerns raised included: Regularisation of Incharge Teachers (2018 Batch) Conduct of DPC for MTS to Junior Assistant Pending Regularisation of Laboratory Assistants (Since 2014) General Promotion of MTS Employees Transparent and Timely Teacher Transfers Immediate Release of Promotion List for Masters CEO Jagdeep Padha and DEPO B.D. Sharma assured the forum that the DPC date would be fixed soon after consultations with higher authorities. The CEO acknowledged GLTF's role in addressing education-related concerns and commended their efforts.
