Thousands of people have applied for dry fallen trees, but no approvals have been granted to date. Hostels for Gujjar, Bakarwal & Pahari Students To support education for underprivileged communities, he urged the government to construct two new hostels in Mandi and Poonch blocks. Wildlife Attacks & Lack of Compensation With numerous cases of people being injured by wild animals (bears, etc.), Jan criticized the Wildlife and Forest Departments for failing to provide compensation to the victims. Illegal Crusher Operations The MLA raised concerns over unauthorized stone crushers operating on forest land, causing massive environmental damage and illegal material extraction. He called for strict action against those responsible. Ajaz Ahmed Jan urged the government to take immediate corrective measures on these pressing matters. He reaffirmed his commitment to fighting for the rights of the people of Poonch Haveli and ensuring their issues are heard and addressed at the highest levels. |
