Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 25: The grand finale of the Police Tournament, organized under the Civic Action Program, concluded with great enthusiasm today at the Marh Sports Stadium. The event witnessed an exciting closing ceremony, graced by SSP Jammu, Joginder Singh JKPS, as the Chief Guest. Sukhnandan Choudhary, former Minister, was the Guest of Honour for the occasion. In a thrilling contest, Marh Rising Star emerged as the winners, while Domana Cricket Team secured the runner-up position. The champions were awarded a cash prize of Rs 21,000, while the runners-up received Rs 11,000. The ceremony was attended by several distinguished personalities, including DDC Marh, SDM Marh, SP Rural Jammu, Principal GDC Marh, SDPO Domana, Tehsildar Marh, DySP Prob., Officers of BSF, JK Police along with sarpanches, panches, and a large gathering of enthusiastic spectators. Addressing the gathering, SSP Joginder Singh highlighted the significance of sports in promoting unity, discipline, and youth empowerment. He congratulated both teams for their outstanding performance and encouraged the youth to take part in such constructive activities.
