Reasi, Mar 27: The Taekwondo Association of District Reasi, under the aegis of the J&K Taekwondo Association (Regd) and J&K Sports Council, is set to organize the District Reasi Taekwondo Championships 2024-25. The championship will take place at SMVD Shrine Board Sports Complex, Katra, from March 29 to March 30, 2025, under the initiative “MY YOUTH MY PRIDE.”
The event is open to all Sub-Junior, Cadet, Junior, and Senior Taekwondo players of District Reasi. The Taekwondo Association of District Reasi remains committed to supporting and promoting the athletes of the region through such competitive platforms.
Participation in the championship requires all athletes to possess a valid JKTA Athlete License. Entries without this license will not be accepted. Additionally, Senior athletes must provide Black Belt Certificates, as mandated by the Taekwondo Federation of India (TFI).
The decision to hold the championship was taken unanimously in a meeting attended by all office bearers of the Taekwondo Association of District Reasi, under the supervision of its President.
All participating players are required to report to SMVD Shrine Board Sports Complex, Katra, on March 29, 2025, at 2:00 PM for the weigh-in.
They must carry completed registration forms duly signed by their parents, along with an Aadhar Card, JKTA License, and a Date of Birth certificate issued by the Municipality or the concerned village Sarpanch. |
