Poonch, Mar 27: A lecture was organised at PWS Sabra, on women specific schemes by Govt to achieve equality and their full potential in society. The Indian government has implemented several schemes and programs specifically aimed at the empowerment, upliftment and welfare of women in the country. These initiatives span various sectors such as education, health, economic development, safety and legal rights. The lecture highlighted the schemes such as Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, Mahila E-Haat, Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana, National Creche Scheme for the Children of Working Mothers, Nari Shakti Puraskar and Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana. These women-specific schemes reflect the Indian government’s commitment to gender equality and women’s empowerment. By focusing on education, financial inclusion, healthcare, safety and legal rights, these programs aim to improve the quality of life for women and break the barriers of inequality. |
