Medical Patrol conducted for Bakkarwals and Local Youth | | | Early Times Report RAJOURI, Mar 28: In continued efforts to support local communities, the Indian Army carried out a medical patrol for bakkarwals and locals in the remote areas of Dhabrot and Songri villages, Rajouri district. The initiative aimed to provide essential medical care to the residents, particularly the elderly, children and women of the Bakarwal community and other local inhabitants. The medical team, comprising experienced medical staff and Nursing Assistants conducted health check-ups of more than 95 villagers comprising approx 42 women, 25 children and 28 elderly people, distributed medicines and educated the locals on hygiene and preventive healthcare. The initiative addressed common ailments and provided much-needed medical assistance to the local population with limited access to healthcare facilities. This outreach program reflects the Indian Army's commitment to strengthening the bond with the civilian population. By ensuring the well-being of remote communities, the Indian Army continues to foster trust and cooperation while upholding its role as a pillar of national service. The locals expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the humanitarian efforts, which reaffirmed the indian Army's dedication to their welfare and continuous support. |
