The team checked the quality of meat, inspected hygiene standards, and verified compliance with food safety regulations. The inspections focused on detecting any signs of disease or contamination to prevent the sale of substandard meat. During the drive, 11 meat shops were penalized for violations, and strict instructions were issued to all vendors to adhere to food safety norms for the well-being of consumers. JMC has assured that the drive will continue throughout the Eid festivities, with authorities addressing citizens' complaints through both online and offline channels.
