IETE celebrates Students' Day at MBSCET, Jammu | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 31: The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) Jammu Sub-Centre, in collaboration with Mahant Bachittar Singh College of Engineering and Technology (MBSCET), Jammu, celebrated Students' Day with great enthusiasm. The event saw active participation from MBSCET students and was graced by esteemed dignitaries. Shriman Mahant Manjit Singh, Sole Trustee of MBSCET, was the Chief Guest for the occasion. Dr. Vijay Sharma, Chairman of IETE, welcomed the participants and emphasized the significance of Students' Day, highlighting the crucial role of students in shaping the future. Er. Tinny Sawhney, Treasurer of IETE, delivered the presidential address. The event featured insightful technical talks by eminent speakers, including Prof. Parveen Kumar Lehana from the University of Jammu and Er. Joy Ganjoo, Immediate Past Chairman of IETE. Students Ms. Manpreet Kour and Mr. Gurvinder Singh also presented technical discussions, adding academic value to the program. Dr. Akshita Sharma delivered the vote of thanks, while Prof. Parveen Singh, Dean of Academics, ensured the smooth coordination of the event. Ms. Nitika Kashyap and Ms. Navneet Kaur, 6th-semester CSE students, efficiently managed the anchoring. Among the distinguished attendees were Dr. D.K. Gupta (Principal), Dr. Amrik Singh (Vice Principal), S. H.S. Gill (DSW), and several faculty members.
