Early Times Report RAJOURI, Mar 31: In an effort to strengthen cordial relations with local citizens, the Indian Army organized an Iftar party on the occasion of Shab-e-Barat at Hasplot and Parore Gujjaran. The event aimed to foster goodwill, engage with religious mentors, and counter the influence of terrorist networks at the grassroots level. The gathering emphasized harmony and coexistence during the sacred month of Ramzan. Troops joined the evening Namaz alongside the locals, followed by Iftar. Addressing the attendees, Indian Army personnel highlighted the significance of peace, unity, and interfaith harmony in society. A total of 575 locals and Army personnel participated in the event, reflecting the strong bond between security forces and the community. The initiative was well received by the AWAM (public), who appreciated the Army's commitment to fostering peace and cooperation. The celebration reaffirmed the Indian Army's dedication to maintaining stability in the region and strengthening military-civil relations.
