Agencies LUCKNOW, Mar 31: The Yogi government is committed to making Divyangjans self-reliant by integrating them into the mainstream and nurturing their hidden talents. Beyond providing pension benefits to over 11 lakh persons with disabilities in Uttar Pradesh, the government is also focused on equipping them with skill-based training tailored to their interests. Through these efforts, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath aims to ensure that Divyangjans not only lead a dignified life but also contribute meaningfully to society. Over the past eight years, the Yogi government has implemented several impactful schemes for the welfare of Divyangjans, ensuring their inclusion and empowerment across various sectors. In the field of education, special efforts are being made to secure a bright future for differently-abled students. Two dedicated institutions-Dr. Shakuntala Mishra National Rehabilitation University in Lucknow and Jagadguru Rambhadracharya University in Chitrakoot-are offering higher education to Divyang students with tailored facilities, enabling them to pursue their aspirations and become self-reliant.
