HPS wins Geeta Dixit Memorial Trophy for third consecutive year

JAMMU, Apr 1: The Annual Valedictory Ceremony of YTS 2024-25 was organized by Youth Talent Search, a prestigious forum of 11 renowned schools, at Govt. Polytechnic Bikram Chowk, Jammu. The event honored the winners of various competitions conducted throughout the year. In a proud moment, Humanity Public School, Bassi Kalan, clinched the Overall Winning Trophy, marking its dominance in multiple categories. The highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of the Geeta Dixit Memorial Rolling Trophy, which HPS won for the third consecutive year. The trophy was awarded to Anku Charak, Vice Principal of HPS.
The event was graced by Indu Kanwal Chib (JKAS), Chairperson, Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board, and a University Council Member, University of Jammu, as the Chief Guest. Shagun Manchanda, District Mission Coordinator, Mission Shakti, Social Welfare Department, was the Guest of Honour and principals of distinguished schools.
The pinnacle of the event was a mesmerizing dance performance by the dedicated teachers of Humanity Public School. Their graceful and well-coordinated presentation captivated the audience, adding a touch of artistic brilliance to the event. The performance featured Monika Saini, Ritika, Sonu Bala, Pallavi, Nirmal, Taruna, Neetu, and Tanmeet from the Primary Wing; Nisha Dogra, Vishali Sangral, Gurvinder, and Mannu from the Pre-Primary Wing; Neha Attri and Shivati from the Middle Wing; and Vaishali and Davneet from the Art & Craft Department. Their energetic and heartfelt performance was met with resounding applause, recognizing their enthusiasm and commitment to making the occasion truly special.
The ceremony concluded on a note of appreciation and celebration. The achievements of Humanity Public School were widely lauded, with special recognition given to the relentless efforts of the students and faculty. The Vice Principal, Anku Charak, and Principal, Gaurav Charak, addressed the gathering during the school's morning assembly, expressing their deep gratitude to the organizers and participants. They emphasized the importance of such platforms in nurturing young talent and fostering a spirit of healthy competition among schools. Their words resonated with pride and encouragement, inspiring students and teachers alike to continue striving for excellence.
