Early Times Report JAMMU, Apr 1: The new academic session at Maharaja Harisingh Agricultural Collegiate (MHAC) School, Nagbani, commenced with a sacred Hawan Ceremony, filling the campus with spiritual fervor. The event was graced by chief guest Sham Lal Sharma, MLA Jammu North, and guest of honour T.K. Ganjoo, Manager of MHAC School Nagbani, who was accompanied by his wife. Also present were Prof. Narayan Dutt, a member of the Local Managing Committee, and Parveen, the parent representative. The Hawan was performed in the Yagyashala, where newly admitted students and their parents participated, creating an atmosphere of positivity and purity. The school's music department enriched the ceremony with melodious bhajans, enhancing the spiritual essence of the occasion. Addressing the gathering, Principal Brij Mohan Babbar emphasized the importance of value-based education and highlighted the school's achievements in academics, sports, and extracurricular activities. Chief guest Sham Lal Sharma spoke on the significance of value education and language proficiency in shaping young minds. He paid tribute to Maharaja Harisingh Ji's contributions to education, particularly for the underprivileged, and commended MHAC School Nagbani for its five decades of excellence in education. He also underscored the role of women empowerment in the field of education and praised the school for its commitment to quality learning. To honor the occasion, a memento and a shawl were presented to the Chief Guest.
