SAMBA, Apr 1: In a swift operation, Samba Police successfully recovered a missing 14-year-old girl from Dehradun, Uttarakhand, in connection with a kidnapping case registered at Police Station Samba.
The case was reported on March 29, 2025, when the girl's mother, a resident of Chak Manga Rakwal, lodged a complaint at Police Post SIDCO, stating that her daughter had gone missing. Despite extensive searches by the family, her whereabouts remained unknown.
Acting on the complaint, an FIR No. 85/2025 under Section 137(2) BNS was registered, and police launched an investigation. With technical assistance and relentless efforts, the Police Post SIDCO team successfully traced the girl to Dehradun.
