Memorandum of Understanding inked between DBU, HI

MANDI GOBINDGARH, Apr 2: In a significant move to strengthen the ties between academia and the Hospitality industry, Holiday Inn Zirakpur has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Desh Bhagat University, Mandi Gobindgarh. This collaboration aims to create new opportunities for students, provide real-world industry experience and promote professional development in the Hospitality sector.
The MOU will pave the way for various initiatives, including internships, training programs, and joint research activities, with a focus on bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application in the hospitality industry. The collaboration will also provide a platform for students to engage with industry leaders and gain insights into the latest trends, challenges, and innovations in the Hospitality sector.The Faculty of School of Hotel Management and Tourism DBU Dr. Rupinder Kaur and Mr. Rinku Singh shared, "This partnership with Holiday Inn Zirakpur will provide our students with invaluable exposure to the real-world workings of the Hospitality industry.
Dr. Zora Singh Chancellor and Dr. Tajinder Kaur Pro-Chancellor expressed best wishes and stated, "This partnership marks an exciting new chapter for our university. Through this collaboration, we aim to provide our students, faculty, and staff with access to world-class Hospitality services and experiences. This MOU will open doors to a range of opportunities that will benefit both the academic and professional grow.
