Grand International Ramayana conclave held

JAMMU, Apr 2: A historic International Ramayana Conclave was organized at Shri Ranbir Campus, Central Sanskrit University, Kot Bhalwal, Jammu, under the joint aegis of the Department of Culture, Government of Uttar Pradesh, and the International Ramayana and Vedic Research Institute, Ayodhya. The event witnessed the participation of renowned scholars, saints, and Sanskrit literature experts, making it a significant cultural and spiritual gathering.
Inaugural Ceremony
The program commenced with Vedic chanting by students, followed by a Saraswati Vandana that filled the auditorium with spiritual energy. Dr. Anay Mani Tripathi and Dr. Praveen Mani Tripathi presented Vedic and Laukik Mangalacharan, setting the tone for the event.
Significance of Ramayana
Prof. Shridhar Mishra, Director, Shri Ranbir Campus, in his welcome address, emphasized that the Ramayana is not just a religious text but a universal code of conduct. He also honored distinguished guests, including Ashutosh Mishra, Advisor, International Ramayana and Vedic Research Institute, Ayodhya.

Two significant research journals of Shri Ranbir Campus, Shri Vaishnavi and Shikshamritam, were unveiled during the conclave.
