Early Times Report UDHAMPUR, Apr 3: A three-day training program on "Developing Effective Communication Skills, Behaviour, Attitude, and Responsibility towards the General Public" commenced today at Sher-e-Kashmir Police Academy (SKPA), Udhampur. The program, designed for 24 officers and officials from the Jammu and Kashmir Police, aims to enhance their emotional intelligence, self-awareness, stress management, and communication skills. The training focuses on soft skills, behavioral adaptation, time management, and self-leadership to improve public interaction and organizational productivity. Renowned faculty members from leading institutions have been invited as resource persons to ensure effective learning. The inaugural session was graced by Shri Rajinder Kumar Gupta, IPS, SSP, Deputy Director (Indoor), as the Chief Guest. Addressing the participants on behalf of the Director, SKPA Udhampur, he emphasized the need for police personnel to adapt their behavior and communication skills to foster public trust and effectively manage conflicts. The program is being coordinated by Ms. Chander Lekha, Sr. PO, with assistance from ASI Rajinder Singh, ensuring seamless execution and an engaging learning experience. |
