Sunderbani, Apr 12: The 59th Annual Maha Yagya at Guru Gaddi Sadguru Baba Kanshi Giri Ji Maharaj in Banpuri, Sunderbani, concluded on a spiritually uplifting note, guided by the divine wisdom of Guru Gosain Brij Bhushan Ji Maharaj. The grand event attracted thousands of devotees from across India and beyond, immersing them in divine bliss and devotion. The festivities began with an enchanting Ram Katha from April 1st to 9th, celebrating the divine glory of Lord Rama, followed by a soul-stirring Bhajan Sandhya on April 10th. Renowned devotional singer Pandit Dinesh Goswami from Vrindhavan graced the occasion with his melodious renditions, elevating the spiritual ambiance. The Guru Gaddi, founded by Adi Guru Sadguru Baba Kanshi Giri Ji in Bangang (now in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir) and reestablished in Banpuri, Sunderbani in 1957 by Guru Gosain Mela Ram Ji Maharaj, has since become a center of spiritual and humanitarian service. The annual Maha Yagya, started in 1967, continues to flourish, radiating divine wisdom and compassion. Under the leadership of Guru Brij Bhushan Ji Maharaj since 1989, the Guru Gaddi has expanded its mission, with charitable efforts such as the establishment of a free Library cum Reading Room in 2024. This initiative, marking its first anniversary this year, provides students with valuable resources for education and enlightenment. During the Maha Yagya, Guru Brij Bhushan Ji Maharaj shared profound pravachans, enlightening devotees with timeless wisdom. The event concluded with the distribution of Langer Prasad, symbolizing unity, equality, and divine grace. In a heartfelt vote of thanks, Secretary Rajesh Prashar expressed gratitude to all devotees and government departments for their unwavering support in making the Maha Yagya a success. The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including Hon’ble MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, MLA Thakur Randhir Singh, renowned cardiologist Dr. Sushil Sharma, and DDC member Rajinder Sharma, who joined the devotees in celebrating the eternal legacy of Guru Gaddi’s spiritual and humanitarian mission. |
