UDHAMPUR, Apr 15: The vibrant three-day Baisakhi Mela, held from April 13 to 15, concluded today in Udhampur with overwhelming public participation. Thousands of people from across the region attended the fair, which was also celebrated in nearby areas like Davika and Nansu. The event was inaugurated on April 13 by Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Ms. Saloni Rai.
To ensure smooth functioning, Tehsildar Udhampur, Jai Singh, was appointed as the Mela Officer. Under his supervision, the event was meticulously managed, drawing praise for its organization and execution. The mela featured cultural programs, stalls, traditional food, and entertainment activities, offering a festive atmosphere to the attendees.
