Doda, Apr 17: In a swift and coordinated effort, Doda Police have successfully traced a missing woman and reunited her with her family, reaffirming their commitment to public safety and timely response.
As per official sources, Parveena Begum, wife of Mohd Iqbal and a resident of Chilly Bala, Gandoh, had gone missing on April 11, 2025. Following a missing report filed at Police Station Gandoh, immediate efforts were launched to trace her whereabouts.
On the directions of SSP Doda, Sh. Sandeep Mehta (JKPS), a dedicated police team was constituted under the supervision of SDPO and SHO Gandoh. Utilizing both traditional investigation techniques and modern technological tools, the team worked diligently over the past week.
Their efforts bore fruit today when the missing woman was located in the Kansau area of Kahra. After completing all necessary legal and procedural formalities, she was safely handed over to her family. The missing report has since been officially closed.
The family has expressed deep gratitude to Doda Police for their tireless work and swift action. The police have once again demonstrated their proactive approach in addressing public concerns and ensuring community welfare. |
