| Relief holders threaten to hold stir | | |

Jammu, Apr 17: Kashmiri migrant relief holders living in Jammu camps and non camps have appealed to Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner for Migrants Jammu to release monthly cash assistance forthwith as any more delay in this regard will lead them to come on roads to hold protests against the authorities. In a statement issued here by Jagti Migrants Welfare Movement(JMWM) headed by Sunil Pandita warned that the financial condition of relief holder migrants have gone bad to worse and further delay in disbursement of monthly relief will add fuel to the fire. He urged Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner for Migrants to look personally into the matter and release monthly cash assistance to migrant relief holders at an earliest. If our monthly cash assistance is not released within next two days migrant relief holders from camps and non camps will stage protests against the Relief Organization on April 21,2025,Sunil Pandita added. |
