Early Times Report RAMGARH, Apr 21: As part of the nationwide Poshan Pakhwada initiative, the NSS Unit 'Prabha' of Government Degree College (GDC), Ramgarh, in collaboration with the Department of Social Welfare Samba, SANKALP: Hub for Empowerment of Women, Mission Shakti Samba, and Shakti Udhgosh Foundation, organized a successful Health and Wellness Camp along with a Yoga Session. The event received strong support from the Directorate of AYUSH, J&K, and was aimed at promoting health, nutrition, and overall well-being. The programme was held under the insightful leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Meeru Abrol, Principal of GDC Ramgarh. Distinguished guests included Dr. Ruchi Thakur, District Mission Coordinator of SANKALP: Hub for Empowerment of Women, along with Ms. Mansi Abrol and Ms. Ritika Banotra, Gender Specialists from Mission Shakti Samba. The health awareness session featured informative lectures by Dr. Mona Prashar Sharma and Dr. Roopsi Gupta, Medical Officers from AYUSH, J&K. They addressed topics such as healthy lifestyle practices, adolescent health in girls, mental well-being, hygiene, and early health intervention.
