JKAACL hosts book release of Aash Aagur by Dulari Pandita “Durga” | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Apr 22: The Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture, and Languages (JKAACL) celebrated the literary spirit of the region with the release of the book Aash Aagur, authored by the renowned writer Smt. Dulari Pandita "Durga", in a grand event held at K.L. Saigal Hall, Jammu. The occasion was graced by eminent scholar and writer Prof. P.N. Trisal as the Chief Guest, who highlighted the indispensable role of literature in preserving cultural identity. The Guest of Honour, Dr. Pavan Malhotra, Director/Principal of ASCOMS Hospital, emphasized the unifying power of literature in fostering understanding and harmony within diverse communities. The event was seamlessly anchored by P.K. Raina, while Dr. Javaid Rahi, Chief Editor of Gojri at JKAACL, delivered the welcome address, lauding the author's literary contributions and reaffirming the Academy's dedication to nurturing and promoting regional literature. Adding a musical dimension to the evening, Rajesh Kher rendered devotional bhajans from the book, infusing the atmosphere with spiritual resonance. Scholars Makhan Lal Pandita and Prem Nath Pandita "Prem" presented in-depth papers on the thematic essence and stylistic elements of Aash Aagur, while Kundan Paras, President of the Nagrai Literary Forum, and R.L. Jawhar, President of Samprati, offered a critical review, discussing the book's literary and cultural significance.
