SUNDERBANI, Apr 23: Government Degree College (GDC) Sunderbani bid an emotional farewell to its outgoing final-year students during a warm and vibrant ceremony organized on the college premises. The event marked a poignant celebration of memories, achievements, and new beginnings, as students, faculty, and staff came together to honor the graduating batch.
The Farewell Ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Principal Dr. Vandana Verma, faculty members, non-teaching staff, and the entire student body. In her moving address, Dr. Verma congratulated the students on reaching this pivotal milestone and urged them to uphold the values, discipline, and knowledge acquired during their academic journey at GDC Sunderbani.
The atmosphere was filled with joy and nostalgia as junior students showcased their affection and admiration through a vibrant lineup of cultural performances, including dance, music, and poetry. These heartfelt acts not only highlighted the talents of the juniors but also served as emotional tributes to their seniors. Thoughtfully curated parting gifts were also presented, making the event even more memorable.
Outgoing students took the opportunity to share their cherished experiences, expressing deep gratitude toward their mentors, peers, and the institution that played a crucial role in shaping their futures. The "Title Distribution" segment added a fun and celebratory twist to the event, with Mr. Ankush Sharma being crowned Mr. Farewell and Ms. Saba Mirza receiving the honor of Miss Farewell.
The ceremony concluded on a high note with a group photo session capturing the bonds formed over the years, followed by a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Prof. Davinder Kumar. He emphasized the emotional essence of farewells and the promise of brighter tomorrows.
GDC Sunderbani extends its heartfelt wishes to all outgoing students for continued success and fulfillment in their future endeavors.
