Early Times Report BHADERWAH, Apr 26: In a commendable initiative aimed at fostering mental well-being and personal transformation, a Yoga Camp was successfully organized at District Jail Bhaderwah, in collaboration with the Department of AYUSH, Doda. The event featured Dr. Nidhi Padha from the Department of AYUSH, who delivered an insightful lecture on mental health, drug de-addiction, and overall physical wellness. She was accompanied by Shri Faizan-ul-Haq, a trained Yoga Instructor, who led practical sessions focused on empowering inmates with tools to manage stress and enhance emotional and physical health. Dr. Padha conducted a dynamic and interactive session, guiding inmates through a series of yoga asanas (postures) and pranayama (breathing techniques) designed to alleviate anxiety, improve physical fitness, and restore mental balance. The inmates participated with great enthusiasm, many expressing heartfelt gratitude for the opportunity to experience the holistic benefits of yoga.
