Early Times Report JAMMU, Apr 26: In an effort to enhance the technical skills of Kabaddi officials, Mr. Kuldeep Gupta, General Secretary of Jammu & Kashmir Amateur Kabaddi Association and Technical Director of the Asian Kabaddi Federation, will be conducting a Kabaddi Refresher/Fresher Course in Jaipur. The course, organized by the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India (AKFI), will be held in collaboration with three other esteemed members: E. Bhaskaran, Jagmohan, and Tejnarayan. The course will be divided into three groups: one Refresher Course and two Fresher Courses. The schedule is as follows: Refresher Course: April 27 to April 30, 2025 Fresher Course 1: May 1 to May 4, 2025 Fresher Course 2: May 5 to May 8, 2025 The course aims to renew certifications and maintain eligibility for officiating at Kabaddi tournaments. The validity of the Fresher/Refresher course certificate is three years from the date of the last examination, and participants will need to renew it accordingly to remain eligible. In a significant move, AKFI will provide free accommodation and meals for all participants during the course. This initiative is open to Kabaddi officials aged between 21 to 58 years, with an additional fitness and performance test for officials over the age of 50 that will be conducted once every two years.
