Udhampur, Apr 29: Police team from Police Station Rehambal led by its SHO while performing routine vehicle/Patrolling duty at Rehambal naka point apprehended one suspicious person who was coming from Tikri towards Rehambal on foot, on spoting police team, he immediately walking back which created suspicion.
Upon conducting a thorough frisking, the police team recovered 4.40 grams of heroin (chitta) like Contraband substance from the possession of the above apprehended person namely Anafas Showkat Ganaie S/O Showkat Ahmed Ganaie R/O Safa Kadal, Srinagar.
On this, a case vide FIR No. 54/2025 U/S 8/21/22/ NDPS Act stands registered in P/S Rehambal and further investigation was set into probe. |
