Desh Bhagat Global School NCC Navy Cadets Excel at Annual Training Camp

Mandi Gobindgarh, May 3: The NCC Navy cadets of Desh Bhagat Global School (DBGS) successfully completed the Annual Training Camp, held at the NCC Training Academy in Ropar from April 18 to April 27, 2025. The camp was organized by 1 PB NU Naya Nangal and led by Commanding Officer Captain Harjit Singh Deol.
A contingent of 11 Junior Wing (JW) and 6 Junior Division (JD) cadets, along with Care Taker Officer Ms. Ravneet Kaur, participated in the camp with great enthusiasm. The cadets engaged in a diverse range of activities including sports competitions, cultural events, parade drills, weapon training, firing and shooting exercises, naval orientation, ship modelling, and personality development programs. They also benefited from instructional lectures delivered by NCC officials.
DBGS cadets made their mark by securing second position as Ranveer Division. Notably, Sehajdeep Kaur and Kamalpreet Singh won first positions in the firing competition, while the DBGS cadet team clinched first place in the volleyball match.
School Principal Ms. Indu Sharma congratulated the cadets for their outstanding performance and discipline during the camp. Chairman Dr. Zora Singh and General Secretary Dr. Tajinder Kaur also lauded their achievements and encouraged them to continue participating in such enriching experiences in the future.
