SJVN spreads message of 'Nasha Mukt Bharat - Swasth Bharat' & 'Swachhta' through Mini Marathon

SHIMLA, May 19: SJVN commenced its 38th Raising Day celebrations with a Mini Marathon organised by SJVN Corporate Headquarters at Shimla. The event was organized on theme 'Nasha Mukt Bharat - Swasth Bharat', aimed at promoting national cause of a Drug-Free and Healthy India. The Marathon also aimed to spread awareness on cleanliness as part of ongoing Swachhta Pakhwada, being observed by SJVN from 16th to 31st May 2025 across all its offices nationwide.
The Mini Marathon was flagged off by Ajay Kumar Sharma, Director (Personnel), SJVN. On this occasion senior officials of SJVN were also present. Addressing the gathering, Ajay Kumar Sharma expressed his appreciation for the enthusiastic participation in the Mini Marathon and highlighted the importance of adopting a healthy and drug-free lifestyle. He encouraged all employees and their families to continue embracing wellness and contribute actively to the vision of a 'Nasha Mukt Bharat - Swasth Bharat'.
To ensure inclusive participation, the event was organized in nine different categories across various age groups for Men, Women, and Children, attracting enthusiastic involvement from SJVN employees, their families and outsourced staff deployed at Corporate Headquarters. Marathon took a scenic route starting from Chotta Shimla, passing through the iconic Mall Road and Chaura Maidan and culminated at Hotel Peterhof. Alongside Mini Marathon, a range of fun games were also organized, infusing the day with festivity.
The event concluded with Prize Distribution ceremony wherein Sh. Ajay Kumar Sharma, Director (Personnel) felicitated winners of Mini Marathon.
