MANDI GOBINDGARH, May 23: The Legal Aid Cell of the University School of Law, Desh Bhagat University, hosted the "Lawyers & Alumni Meet: Adhivakta Samvaad", marking a significant step toward uniting academic insight with professional legal practice.
The event commenced with a welcome address by the Head of the Department, followed by an inaugural speech from Hon'ble Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh, who emphasized the value of such interactive platforms in enhancing legal education and practical preparedness.
The gathering brought together distinguished alumni and practicing lawyers across fields- from litigation to corporate law and judicial services-who shared invaluable insights and personal journeys. Distinguished lawyers also contributed by guiding students on ethical practice, courtroom behavior, and the dynamic nature of the legal landscape.
Hon'ble Pro-Chancellor Dr. Tajinder Kaur highlighted the role of alumni in inspiring the next generation of legal professionals, praising their continued connection with the university.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks and a felicitation ceremony, celebrating the contributions of alumni and guests. Adhivakta Samvaad emerged as a meaningful and motivating exchange, strengthening the university's ties with its vibrant legal community.
