Heartfelt farewell to outgoing students by Agrim Club, Desh Bhagat University

MANDI GOBINDGARH, May 31: The Agrim Club of the Faculty of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Desh Bhagat University organized a memorable farewell event titled "Au Revoir" to bid adieu to the outgoing students. The event was held in the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Seminar Hall and was marked by joy, celebration, and emotional moments.
The program commenced with the ceremonial lamp lighting by Prof. (Dr.) Harsh Sadawarti, Vice Chancellor of Desh Bhagat University, followed by the rendition of the DBU Anthem. The auspicious start set a warm and dignified tone for the day.
Hon'ble Chancellor (Dr.) Zora Singh and Pro-Chancellor (Dr.) Tajinder Kaur graced the occasion and encouraged the students with their inspiring words. They expressed their blessings and wished the outgoing students success in all their future endeavors, stating, "Be blessed and may God bless you with everything you have ever desired in life."
Dr. H.K. Sidhu extended a formal welcome to all the dignitaries and attendees. In her address, she emphasized that the event was not just a farewell, but a celebration of togetherness and shared memories.
The event featured vibrant cultural performances, including dance, singing, and a modeling show, where students showcased their talents with enthusiasm and spirit. In the highlight of the event, Mr. Jackson was crowned Mr. Farewell, while Ms. Mansi Rathore was awarded the title of Ms. Farewell, amid applause and cheer.
