SHIMLA, June 3: SJVN organized the fifth edition of 'Sauhard', an exhibition-cum-outreach program, under its My Social Responsibility (MSR) initiative, today at Corporate Headquarters in Shimla. The event was inaugurated by Ajay Kumar Sharma, Director (Personnel) and on this occasion, Chandra Shekhar Yadav, Executive Director (HR), other senior officials and employees were also present. Through the unique initiative My Social Responsibility (MSR), which has been aligned with Swachhata Pakhwada this year, SJVN aims to instill a culture of compassion and social sensitivity among its employees, while positively impacting lives within the immediate ecosystem. SJVN employees voluntarily donated mementoes, surplus household items and other useful articles, which were exhibited at the Multi-Purpose Hall and subsequently distributed to low-income outsourced workers deployed by various contractors at the Corporate Headquarters. Ajay Kumar Sharma distributed 100 mementoes to the beneficiaries, appreciating the enthusiastic participation of SJVN employees in nurturing this meaningful tradition. He said "Sauhard is not just a distribution drive; it is a symbol of shared responsibility and empathy for inclusive growth." Since its inception in 2019, four successful editions of Sauhard have been organized at SJVN's Corporate Headquarters in Shimla and mementoes and useful items have been shared with underprivileged sections of society to support vulnerable communities in the surrounding areas.
