Cyber crime is a growing problem in today’s world. It refers to any criminal activity that involve the computer and the internet or the other digital devices. Cyber crime can range form relatively simple acts, such as online fraud, to more complex once, such as hacking and cyber terrorism. One of the most common type of cyber crime is online fraud. This can take many form, such as phising scams, where criminal try to trick people into giving up their personal information, or online shopping scams, where criminal sell fake products or take people money without delivering anything. Hacking is another major type of cyber crime. This involves gaining unauthorized access to computer system or networks. Hacker may steal data, plant malware, or disrupt services. Cyber crime has a significant impact on individual, business and government. Individuals may loose money, have their identity stolen, or suffer emotional distress. Business may loose revenue, have their repetations damaged, or face legal actions. Governments may have their critical infrastructure attacked or their nationals security compromised. AS technology continues to evolve, so too will cyber crime. It is essential for individuals, businesses, and governments to take steps to protect themselves from cybercrime. Moreover, cybercrime can have severe implicants for national security. State sponsored cyber attacks can target critical infrastructure such as poer grids, financial systems and communication networks. These attacks can disrupt essential services, cause economic dmage, and even threaten public safety, The increasing sophistication of cyber attacks makes it a critical area of concern for governments world wide.
