Kuch Din Toh Aaiyein Ladakh Mein: LG Kavinder appeals in Navi Mumbai
9/15/2025 9:08:37 PM
MUMBAI, Sept 15: The Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Kavinder Gupta, today appealed to the people of Navi Mumbai and Maharashtra to visit Ladakh and experience its unmatched beauty, vibrant culture, and warm hospitality. He was addressing a felicitation function organised by Kohli Mahasangh Parivar Maharashtra in Navi Mumbai.
Drawing inspiration from the famous tourism campaign, the Lt Governor remarked, "Just as Amitabh Bachchan once said, 'Kuch Din Toh Guzariye Gujarat Mein,' I say today - 'Kuch Din Toh Aaiyein Ladakh Mein.'"
The Lt Governor underlined that Ladakh is not just a destination, but an experience that stays with every visitor. "Whichever direction you travel in Ladakh, you will find a new horizon, a new charm, and a new story waiting to be discovered," he said.
Sharing the remarkable transformation of the Union Territory, Gupta highlighted that under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Ladakh has witnessed unprecedented infrastructural development. "From Leh, one can now travel nearly 200 km deep, right up to our borders with Pakistan, on world-class roads. The quality of these roads, in many cases, even surpasses those of metropolitan states like Maharashtra," he added.
Kavinder Gupta stressed that the development of Ladakh is a testimony to the Central Government's resolve of reaching the last mile and leaving no region untouched. "We are working with dedication to ensure that every corner of Ladakh reflects progress, prosperity, and inclusivity. Our mission is clear - to serve Bharat Mata with complete devotion and to strengthen the fabric of national unity," he asserted.
Concluding his address with a personal appeal, the Lt Governor said, "I once again extend my warm invitation to each one of you - Kuch Din Toh Aaiyein Ladakh Mein. Come, witness the unmatched beauty, culture, and hospitality of Ladakh, and carry back memories that will last a lifetime.
