His birth day coincided with the birth anniversary of Lord Vishwakarma -the architect of gods. Modi was greeted by several world leaders such as US president Donald Trump, Russian president Vladimar Putin, Meloni and the head of Sudia Arabia. Narendra Das Modi was born on 17 September 1950 in Vadnagar Bomby state---present day Gujarat and was raised there and he completed his secondary education from there. Modi, is the leader who changed India for better. History was created in the forecourt of Rashtripati Bhawan on the evening of 26th May as Narendra Modi took oath as the Prime minister of India after a historic mandate from the people of India. Modi is a dynamic, decisive and development-oriented leaders who change the picture of India and in his third term India became the third largest economy of the globe and his vision and ambition of making India a Viksit Bharat by 2047 when India completes 100 years of its independence is not an ordinary thing but very extra -ordinary from every standard. His focus on development and efforts to bring a qualitative change /difference in the lives of the poor and marginalised sections of the society earned him the name, fame and sympathy as well as support of the larger sections of the society. Modi’s Swach Bharat Abhyian ,his efforts for the financial inclusion of the poor brought laurels to him and his dynamic leadership. His Jandan scheme was a total success. His scheme of direct benefit transfer to the various beneficiaries eliminated middlemen’s role and slippage of the money and corruption. Modi’s vision and emphasis on the infrastructural development in urban as well as rural India changed the conditions of highways in the country and his emphasis on digital transformation of the country and various services is praise worthy and commendable. His big political decisions of eliminating triple tlaq for the Muslim women earned him the sympathy of the Muslim women. The abrogation of controversial Article 370 and 35 A realised the dream and vision of Dr Shyama Prasad Mukerjee who had sacrificed his precious life for the full integration of Jammu and Kashmir with India. It is Modi who took decisive and bold decision amid strong opposition from Congress and other opposition parties. The solution of the Ramjanamboomni-Babri Masjid issue also goes to the credit of Modi and the construction of a grand Ram temple at the birthplace in Ayodhya has added a feather in the cap of Narendra Modi. Narendra Modi’s spent his childhood and adulthood even in poverty and penury and he has the direct and firsthand experience of living in poverty. So is he concerned about ameliorating the fate of the poor and weaker sections of the society. His life has been a journey of courage, compassion and constant hardwork. At the very young age he had decided to devote his life in service of the people and country. He displayed his skills as a grass root level worker, an organiser, and an administrator during his 13 years long stint as the chief minister of his home state Gujarat. Narendra Modi’s inspiring life journey to the office of Prime Minister begun in the by-lanes of Vadnagar. small town in North Gujarat’s Mehsana district. He was born three years after Independence and so he has the distinction of being the first prime minister to be born in free India. Mr.Modi is the third child born to Damodardas Modi and Hiraba Modi. Modi comes from family of humble origins and modest means. As a child also he always felt a strong urge to make a difference to society. He was highly influenced by the works of Swami Vivekanand which laid the foundation of his journey towards spiritualism and which inspired him to pursue the mission to fulfil Swamiji’s dream of making India Jagat Guru. At the age of 20 years, he joined RSS at Ahmedabad. He was made the Pracharak of RSS in 1972.In 1970’s he took part in anti -emergency movement as a young man. Modi became General Secretary of BJP in Gujarat in 1978.He won for the first time a victory for BJP in Municipal Corporation elections. He also ensured that BJP was a close second to Congress in 1995 Assembly elections. Due to his organisational skills, it was possible to won 121 seats in the Assembly. He became the National General Secretary of BJP and was given charge of HP and Haryana. As general secretary he ensured the victory of BJP for the first time in Lok Sabha elections in 1989.He got a phone call from PM A.B.Vajpayee which took him from organisational work to governance. Narendra Modi’s path to creating a vibrant Gujarat as a shinning example of Development and Governance did not come easy. It was a path littered with adversities and challenges. Modi became a strong leader with a vision in the face of challenges. Modi’s philosophy of ‘’Minimum Government, Maximum, Governance has transformed and modified governance and his transparency in administration and governance earned him name and fame. Narendra Modi as India’s Prime Minister brings with him a rich and hands-on experience as one of India’s most successful chief ministers and one of its finest of Administrators. Then his role in the highest capacity of Prime minister is one of envoy and he is governing country for the third time and during all these years he has transformed the picture of mother India and there is hardly a sector of the country which has not developed. His, inclusive development is praise worthy. Modi’s slogan of ‘’Sabka Sath ,Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas has in fact changed the fate of the country and made inclusive development possible through which India is becoming third largest economy shortly. Modi is very patient and he tolerates the nicknames from the opposition. He is time and again insulted by the Congress and other opposition parties but as he himself stated that he is the devotee of Lord Mahadev and so he keeps the poison of insults in his neck life Neelkanth. There was buzz in political circles that Modi will retire from politics after attaining the age of 75 years. It is said that Modi at sometime past has said that politicians should retire on attaining age of 75 years. It was presumed by many leaders that PM will retire on attaining age of 75 years. It was expected that RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat will ask the PM Modi to step down but he proved all speculations regarding quitting office of PM by Modi wrong. Instead, Bhagwat said there is no precedence in RSS so far as the retirement at the age of 75 is concerned. There is no provision in RSS which provides for the retirement of leaders at the age of 75 years. At the end we can say that India has made big strides in all most all sectors including economy. space and technology. May God give Modi a healthy and happier long life so that he will continue to lead the nation nationally as well as internationally and in due course of time India will become Vishwa Guru once again. The 75 years of PM Modi’s life are full of trials, turbulations, challenges and successes. He has changed the politico-social and technological landscape of India. Hats off to PM Modi.
