LNCT University's School of Legal Studies celebrates Constitution Day

BHOPAL, Nov 28: LNCT University celebrated Constitution Day on 26 November 2025. The program was organized under the chairmanship of Prof. (Dr.) Mukesh Kumar Sahu, Dean & Director, School of Legal Studies, LNCT University.
The chief guests of the event were Hon'ble Justice Alok Verma (Former Judge, High Court of Madhya Pradesh) and Shri Pradeep Verma (Former District & Sessions Judge). The invited guests included Prof. (Dr.) N. K. Thapak (Vice-Chancellor, LNCT University), Dr. Ajit Soni (Registrar, LNCT University), and Prof. (Dr.) R. K. Chaurasia (Principal, School of Paramedical Sciences, LNCT University).
Addressing the gathering, the chief guest inspired everyone to uphold and embrace the ideals of the Constitution. During the program, the Preamble of the Constitution was recited. Students also presented a street play (nukkad natak) to educate people about the rights granted by the Constitution and to raise awareness about their constitutional rights.
At the conclusion of the event, Prof. (Dr.) Mukesh Kumar Sahu administered the constitutional oath to all attendees and expressed gratitude to the chief guest by presenting a memento. He also addressed the students, highlighting that the Constitution of India is the largest written constitution in the world, which took 2 years, 11 months, and 18 days to be drafted, with an expenditure of ?63,96,719. He further elaborated on the intricate and significant points of the original manuscript of the Constitution.
