J&K On Path Of Healing
12/12/2025 10:34:12 PM
While addressing a programme organized to handover the appointment letters to the Next of Kins (NoKs) of the terror victims, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha reiterated that no one will ever again glorify terrorists, separatists, or extremists in Jammu and Kashmir.
After the abrogation of Article 370, J&K has witnessed a sea change. Separatists and terrorists have lost their addresses. Ones who used to preach sedition and talk in the language of adversaries have been shown their place.
The government has acted tough against the elements inimical to peace. The terrorists and their ecosystem stands shattered and dismantled.
Stone-pelting and shutdowns have become a history. The days of fear and terror are over. Terrorists and their supporters are being punished while terror victims are getting justice and relief.
There are certain elements from the dying terror ecosystem who are attempting to spread misinformation or negative narratives against the country. These efforts aim to resurrect old fault lines, misguide the youth, and create an atmosphere of mistrust. Such elements are being proactively identified and held accountable. The era of impunity is over.
Terror victim families in Jammu and Kashmir were “left to struggle in silence for decades” due to a biased system that failed to deliver justice. Terrorism snatched innocent lives and devastated homes, discrepancies within the administrative structure further compounded the suffering of affected families. However, the time has changed as the administration led by LG Sinha has extended a heling hand to these families by providing them with jobs.
Providing government jobs to the NoKs of terror victims is not merely a welfare initiative; it is a restoration of dignity. It signals that the State stands firmly with those who stood helpless against terror. It reassures that their suffering will not be forgotten and their resilience will not go unanswered.
Jammu and Kashmir is on a path of healing and rebuilding—socially, economically, and emotionally.
The courage of terror victims’ families, combined with the administration’s renewed commitment, is shaping a future anchored in peace and justice.
The message from the LG’s programme was loud and clear: this is a new J&K—one where victims are honoured, perpetrators are punished, and no voice that glorifies terror will ever find space again.
