Poonch, Dec 24: “1 Block, 5 Roads; 5 Blocks, 25 Roads” is being implemented in Haveli Poonch in true letter and spirit. The people of Poonch have wholeheartedly endorsed this vision and stand united in support as a new era of road connectivity begins.
Today, Hon’ble MLA Ajaz Ahmed Jan kick-started the long-awaited Dunugam–Barachadi Road, measuring 4.41 kilometers, at Mandi.
The project has been sanctioned at a cost of ₹1072.59 lakh.
The inauguration witnessed a huge public gathering, where residents accorded a warm and enthusiastic welcome to the MLA with slogans and applause.
The atmosphere turned electrifying as the Hon’ble MLA, in a roaring voice, raised his popular slogans, to which the gathering responded with full energy and unwavering support.
The inhabitants of the area expressed their deep gratitude to the MLA for fulfilling their long-pending demand, terming the project a historic step toward improved connectivity and regional development. |
