Jammu, Dec 24: Today P L Koul Swadeshi assumed as President of one of the oldest socio cultural religious body of displaced Kashmiri Pandits, All Displaced Kashmiri United Form ( ADKUF ) at an impressive function held at its Durga Nagar head office.
This ceremony attended by different representatives of various Kashmiri Pandit organizations, in which he was declared elected unopposed by election authority, B.B.Raina, Anil Bhan and Naveen Handoo.
This emotionally charged event managed by a well known educationist, P.K.Raina started with National Anthem, was addressed by prominent personalities of the community which included M.L. Malla, Prof. G.L.Koul, Rajiv Pandita, Ravi Jogi, Dr. Daleep Pandita, Veer Jee and Shoki Lidoo, who all assured their full support to Swadeshi and acknowledged his immense contribution towards the socio cultural upliftment of displaced community living in exile for the last 36 years.
While thanking community supporters, Swadeshi assured of addressing all the genuine issues of community within time for moving this movement further forward to deliver meaningful results.
This day long community oriented ceremony ended with National Song followed by serving of traditional prashad to all the participants refreshing their old gold memories during day long interactions with each other.
