Jammu, Dec 26: As part of the World AIDS Day celebrations, the Red Ribbon Club, in collaboration with the National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of Government Degree College Bishnah, organized an awareness rally on HIV/AIDS on 26th December 2025, in alignment with the World AIDS Day theme “Overcoming Disruption, Transforming the AIDS Response.” The rally witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, NSS volunteers, and faculty members, who marched through the campus and adjoining areas carrying placards and raising awareness slogans highlighting prevention, responsible behaviour, and compassion towards people living with HIV/AIDS.
The rally was organized under the able supervision and guidance of the Principal of the college, Dr. Shallu Samyal. The activity was jointly coordinated by the Nodal Officers of the Red Ribbon Club, Dr. Anshu Sawhney and Dr. Ashma Gupta, along with the NSS Programme Officer. |
