Navayug School celebrates annual function 'Udaan' with great enthusiasm

KURUSHETRA, Dec 29: The annual Function (Udaan)-2025 was celebrated with great pomp and show at Navayug Senior Secondary School, Mohan Nagar, Kurukshetra, with Dr. Rampal Saini as the chief guest. The chief guest and other dignitaries observed the art and craft, mathematics, science, and IT exhibitions and rangoli displays put up by students of classes IX to XII in the school premises. Everyone highly appreciated the various artworks and models created by the students throughout the year. Students of classes VII to X set up food, decoration, and games stalls in the school, which were highly appreciated by all the guests. Students from pre-nursery to class VI showcased their talent by participating in various cultural programs. School Director B.D. Gaba, teachers, and other dignitaries welcomed the chief guest. The program began with the lighting of the lamp in front of Goddess Saraswati. This was followed by a Ganesh Vandana performance by the students of class VI. The little artists of pre-nursery presented "Funky Beats," nursery students presented "Shiny Stars," LKG students presented "Welcome Dance" and "Dream Life," and UKG students captivated everyone with their performances of "Healthy Alphabets" and "Wonders of Life." Students of class II showcased their talent through dances on "School Chale Hum," "Punjabi Beat," and "Tollywood Tadka." Class III students presented "Udaan" and "Aeri Feri" dances, and class V students enthralled everyone with their "Rangilo Rajasthan" dance. Class IV students gave a wonderful performance of the world of theatre through "Retro Melodies." Class VI students displayed their strength through wrestling and yoga. The final performance was a Haryanvi dance, which delighted everyone. The chief guest was felicitated by Director B.D. Gaba,Principal Dr Devender Arora along with managing committee members Santosh, Vikas Gaba, Sakshi, Headmistress Preeti Mishra, Coordinator Ritu Chaudhary, and other staff members, presented the chief guest with a shawl and a memento. The school's Director, B.D. Gaba, thanked the chief guest, dignitaries, and the large number of parents present. Chief guest Dr. Rampal Saini said that just as the school has been progressing in the field of education for years, its students are also unparalleled in other activities. He highly praised both the students and the teachers. Dr. Rampal Saini also advised parents to choose careers for their children according to their interests and to take time out of their busy schedules to talk to their children at every stage of their lives. He encouraged the students to prepare for their exams without stress, with complete dedication and hard work. On this occasion, the school also honored students who achieved merit in the board examinations.
