BHADERWAH, Dec 29: Social Welfare department organized a Digital Life Certificate (DLC) generation camp at its Tehsil Office in Bhaderwah. The initiative aimed to facilitate pensioners and ensure uninterrupted disbursement of benefits under the National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP).
As many as 54 Digital Life Certificates were successfully generated and provided to the beneficiaries availing pensions under different components of NSAP. The camp was conducted in the presence of Tehsil Social Welfare Officer, Shahnawaz Ahmad, who supervised the proceedings and ensured smooth service delivery to the beneficiaries.
To facilitate the pensioners, especially elderly, infirm and physically challenged, DLC generation is also being carried out through door-to-door surveys and outreach camps across Sub-Division Bhaderwah.
So far, 250 beneficiaries have been provided Digital Life Certificates against a target of 1,300, reflecting steady progress under the initiative.
Additionally, sanction letters were given away to eligible pensioners, whose cases have been duly approved, ensuring timely relief and transparency. |
