BJP District Jammu South observes Atal Samriti Sammelan in Bahu Constituency

Jammu, Dec 30: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) District Jammu South marked "Atal Samriti Sammelan" with great enthusiasm in the Bahu Constituency, paying rich tributes to former PM and Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his 101st birth anniversary. The event, held at the party headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, witnessed the presence of senior leaders, office bearers, former councillors, Mandal presidents, and a large number of party cadres from across Jammu South. The program commenced with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony performed by the dignitaries, symbolizing the enlightenment and visionary leadership of Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
The event was organized under the leadership of BJP District President Naresh Singh Jasrotia and saw the esteemed presence of Rajya Sabha MP and State President Satpaul Sharma, State General Secretaries Sanjita Dogra and Gopal Mahajan, Bahu Constituency MLA Vikram Randhwa, State Secretaries and Jammu South Prabharies Parduman Singh and Reema Padha, District General Secretaries Kulbir Charak and Rakesh Sangral, along with other district office bearers, ex-councillors, all Mandal Presidents, and dedicated party workers.
Addressing the gathering, Rajya Sabha MP Satpaul Sharma described Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee as a visionary leader who laid the strong foundation for transparent and people-centric governance in India. He emphasized how Vajpayee's principles continue to inspire the BJP's commitment to nation-building. He recalled the crucial role played by the late PM during the Kargil War, showcasing his statesmanship and resolve in safeguarding national security.
MLA Vikram Randhawa highlighted that Atal Samriti Sammelan is observed nationwide through year-long programs to honor Vajpayee’s enduring ideals. He underscored the BJP’s organizational discipline, democratic functioning, and unwavering dedication to public welfare. During his tenure as prime minister, he focused on good governance and economic development, launching significant projects.
In his presidential address, District President Naresh Singh Jasrotia on Atal Samriti Sammelan elaborated on the towering legacy of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, portraying him as a stalwart whose contributions shaped modern India. He urged party cadres to emulate the leader's footsteps by directly connecting with the common masses and working tirelessly for their upliftment.
Sanjita Dogra and Gopal Mahajan reminisced about Vajpayee’s landmark contributions to nation-building, including his efforts in strengthening democracy and infrastructure.
Parduman Singh spoke eloquently and highlighted Vajpayee's remarkable achievements and recited excerpts from one of his famous poems, evoking emotions and reminding everyone of the leader's poetic depth alongside his political acumen.
A special presentation was delivered by Divya Jain and Nitish Mahajan, who provided insights into the life and remarkable role of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, focusing on his contributions to India's progress and unity.
The proceedings were skillfully conducted by Kulbir Charak, while the vote of thanks was proposed by Rakesh Sangral, expressing gratitude to all participants for making the event a success.
