JAMMU, Dec 31: 34th Union Territory Level Security Committee Meeting (UTLSC) for the UT of J&K was held on December 31, 2025 at 12:30 PM at Hotel Radisson Blu, Jammu under the Chairmanship of Shri Chandraker Bharti, IAS, Principal Secretary, Home Department of UT of Jammu & Kashmir and under the aegis of Chandrashekhar Azad, Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India, UTs of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. The meeting was attended by Alok Kumar, IPS, Director, Fire & Emergency Services; Bhim Sen Tuti, IPS, IGP, Jammu Zone; R. Gopala Krishna Rao, IPS, IG Jammu Sector, CRPF; Rajesh Kumar Yadav, IG, HQ J&K Zone, CRPF; Ashok Gupta, GM, J&K Bank and Vinod Kumar DGM, RBI along with other senior officials from Government Departments, Controlling Heads of Commercial Banks, Airport & Railway Authorities and Air India. The forum discussed issues pertaining to security during movement of treasure, augmentation of security and guarding arrangements at Currency Chests, mitigation of fire risks in currency chests, functioning of security gadgets, incidents of attacks/ thefts in ATMs, dispensation of Rs 100 and Rs 200 denomination banknotes through ATMs, implementation of e-Surveillance system in ATMs, capacity building & training for detection of Fake Indian Currency Notes (FICNs) to bankers, etc. |
