CMD, NHPC Reaffirms Commitment to clean energy, Nation-Building in 2026 Vision

Jammu, Jan 2: Shri Bhupender Gupta, CMD, NHPC, outlined his vision for NHPC for the year 2026 during a special programme organised on 1st January 2026 at the NHPC Corporate Office, Faridabad.
The function was graced by Shri Uttam Lal, Director (Personnel), Shri Sanjay Kumar Singh, Director (Projects), Shri Suprakash Adhikari, Director (Technical) and Shri Mahesh Kumar Sharma, Director (Finance) alongwith other senior NHPC officers and employees. In his address to employees, Shri Gupta extended his heartfelt New Year greetings to all NHPCians and highlighted the significant achievements of the organisation.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Bhupender Gupta shared messages of motivation, reflecting on NHPC’s remarkable milestones achieved despite numerous difficulties and challenges during the past year and outlined NHPC’s vision for sustainable growth, innovation and excellence in the coming year. He also emphasised on NHPC’s continued commitment to nation-building, clean energy transition and community development.
He concluded by reiterating NHPC’s pledge to work with renewed dedication and collective responsibility to achieve organisational goals while contributing to the country’s energy security and sustainable development.
Sharing his views on the occasion, Shri Uttam Lal, Director (Personnel), emphasized the pivotal role of human capital in NHPC’s success and highlighted the organization’s focus on employee welfare, capacity building and fostering a positive and performance-oriented work culture.
Shri Sanjay Kumar Singh, Director (Projects) underlined NHPC’s commitment to timely execution of projects and strengthening project management systems to support capacity addition and long-term growth.
Shri Suprakash Adhikari, Director (Technical) spoke about the importance of technological innovation, safety and quality standards in ensuring efficient and reliable power generation across NHPC’s operations. Highlighting NHPC’s robust financial performance and prudent financial management, Shri Mahesh Kumar Sharma, Director (Finance) reiterated the organization’s focus on financial discipline, value creation and sustainable investments.
During the occasion, a colourful Dance Drama titled ‘Shri Krishna’ was presented by artistes from Shri Ram Bharatiya Kala Kendra, New Delhi which highly mesmerized and enthralled the audience.
The event was also witnessed by NHPC employees across all locations through Webcast and Facebook & You Tube Live.
