Gupta lead high-level NC delegation calls on Ali Muhammad Sagar

JAMMU, Jan 2: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Provincial President Jammu, Rattan Lal Gupta, led a high-level delegation to meet the party's General Secretary, Haji Ali Muhammad Sagar, at his residence in Jammu.
The meeting was marked by detailed and in-depth discussions on key organizational matters, current political challenges, and strategies to effectively address them. The focal point of the meeting was the upcoming Urban Local Body (ULB)/ Panchayat elections and the party's preparations for the same.
The delegation, provided a comprehensive update on the party's ongoing public outreach initiatives, including their rigorous efforts to engage with communities and mobilize support for the upcoming elections. Gupta emphasized, "We are fully committed to ensuring that Jammu and Kashmir National Conference continues to strengthen its grassroots presence. Our efforts to reach out to the public are intensifying, and we are working tirelessly to ensure that we are fully prepared for the forthcoming ULB and Panchayat elections. The people of Jammu deserve candidates who prioritises their needs, and we are ready to deliver on that promise."
During the meeting, General Secretary Haji Ali Muhammad Sagar reassured the delegation of the party's ongoing support for Jammu's interests. "Under the leadership of Omar Abdullah, the government has consistently given Jammu its rightful place, both in terms of policy and in the distribution of resources. Our focus has always been to ensure that Jammu's development is not sidelined and that the region receives the attention it rightfully deserves," Sagar said.
The discussions also revolved around the strategic steps that the party will take in the coming months to navigate the political landscape, strengthen its organizational framework, and effectively tackle any emerging challenges.
The meeting concluded on a note of unity and determination, with both leaders reaffirming their commitment to working together to safeguard the interests of Jammu and Kashmir, particularly Jammu, in the face of evolving political dynamics.
The delegation included : Sheikh Bashir Ahmad Provincial Secretary Jammu, Dr.Chaman Lal Bhagat former MLA, Vijay Lochan Chairman SC Cell, Rakesh Singh Raka Vice President Central Zone and Mohd Farooq Gazi Block President Assar.
