Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 3: British Ravidasia Heritage Foundation's Indian Branch General Secretary, Balbir Ram Rattan, had the honour of receiving a significant literary gift - a book titled "Mere Rehbar", written by Australian author Maninder Kamli, from Adarsh Jathiar, General Secretary of Guru Ravidass Sabha, Upper Gumat, Jammu, in presence of social activist Sanjay Bakshi on Saturday. The book "Mere Rehbar", which delves into the spiritual teachings and life of Guru Ravidass, holds special significance, given the author's deep interest in the Guru's message. This literary work reinforces the global reach and impact of Guru Ravidass's teachings, transcending geographical boundaries. In addition to "Mere Rehbar", Jathiar also provided Balbir Ram Rattan with a copy of "Nittname", a collection of Guru Ravidass's Vaani, which has been compiled and published by Dera Swami Jagat Guri, Pathankot. The Vaani offers spiritual insights and guidance that continue to inspire millions of followers worldwide. Balbir Ram Rattan expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Adarsh Jathiar for the generous gifts. He acknowledged the profound impact these texts have in spreading the timeless teachings of Guru Ravidass, emphasizing how such literary contributions enhance the understanding of the Guru's life and philosophy. "Guru Ravidass's message of equality, social justice, and spiritual enlightenment resonates with people from all walks of life. I'm deeply thankful to Adarsh Jathiar for facilitating this exchange," Rattan said. Adarsh Jathiar highlighted the importance of preserving and promoting the legacy of Guru Ravidass across the world.
