MLA Bahu Ch Vikram Randhawa inaugurates lane and drain works at Nanak Nagar

JAMMU, Jan 5: Today, MLA Bahu Constituency Ch. Vikram Randhawa inaugurated the newly constructed lane and drain at Ward No. 44, Nanak Nagar, opposite the petrol pump near Bansi Lal Kiryana Store and adjoining links. The inauguration was carried out in the presence of senior officials and local representatives, marking another important step towards improving civic infrastructure in the area.
Executive Engineer Division-4 Janak Singh, Junior Engineer Vishal Kotwal, and Work Supervisor Sh. Naresh Sharma were present on the occasion and briefed the MLA about the technical aspects and quality parameters of the completed works. Mandal Presidents Rahul Kumar, Surjeet Singh, and Nitish Mahajan also attended the event along with prominent local dignitaries including Rajesh Gupta, Daljeet Singh, Pankaj Bral, Sahil Mahajan, Aman Goswami, Vinay Gupta, Anil Gupta, Bhushan Verma, Seema Verma, Jagdeep Singh, and other respected members of the locality.
While speaking on the occasion, Ch. Vikram Randhawa stated that strengthening basic infrastructure like lanes and drains is essential for ensuring better sanitation, smooth movement, and an improved quality of life for residents. He emphasized that his priority remains people-centric development and timely execution of works with proper quality. The MLA also interacted with the local residents, patiently listening to their issues and concerns, and issued on-the-spot directions to the concerned officials for early redressal of pending problems.
The local residents lauded the MLA for his regular visits to the area and his hands-on approach towards development works. They expressed hope that such initiatives would continue in the future and further strengthen basic amenities across Ward No. 44. Reiterating his commitment, Ch. Vikram Randhawa assured the public that no area of the Bahu constituency would be neglected and that development works would be carried out in a transparent, timely, and accountable manner for the welfare of the people.
