Jammu, Jan 9: Meeting of OBC Cell of District Udhampur was held at Dhanu the otherday which was organized by Anyatullah District President Udhampur OBC Cell.
During the course of discussion various issues were highlighted and discussed thread bare the major issue was OBC Certificate which is not provided easily and people from this backward class suffers due to non-availability of OBC Certificate.
While addressing the meeting Abdul Gani Teli Chairman OBC Cell said that Govt led by Omar Abdullah is aware of these issues and committed to address these on priority.
He said that there is a reservation of OBC in Panchayats, Blocks, Municipality and Corporation in which only OBC people will contest and they will lookafter OBC issues. He called upon the workers to strengthen the party at gross root level.
Addressing the gathering Mr Anyatullah District President Udhampur OBC Cell and Thakur Dass said that the Previous BJP government has failed to meet the expectations of the rural population.
They promises of improved infrastructure, clean drinking water, electricity, and better road connectivity remain unfulfilled," they stated, adding that the neglect of rural areas during the BJP’s tenure reflects poorly on its governance.
